The diesel option provides increased torque and more responsive acceleration, while the gasoline option offers quieter operation and a lower acquisition cost. The BATT-X is capable of transporting 12–14 fully equipped personnel while maintaining highway-capable performance exceeding 80 mph (128 kph).
Ballistic protection is available in NIJ Level III / B6 and NIJ Level IV / B7 configurations, including protection against .50 caliber ball ammunition. The Armored Group incorporates a comprehensive protection package that includes a blast-mitigating floor, internal armored firewall, rifle-rated roof protection, and a fully armored hood clip to help ensure consistent coverage throughout the vehicle.

Ballistic protection is provided at NIJ Level III / B6 and NIJ Level III+ / B6+, utilizing certified ballistic steel and glass. The BATT-XL is the largest platform within the BATT family, purpose-built for missions requiring increased seating capacity, enhanced interior volume, or a dedicated armored command configuration. Constructed on a Navistar commercial-grade chassis and powered by a heavy-duty diesel engine with an automatic transmission, the BATT-XL delivers reliable performance for demanding operations. As with other BATT platforms, ballistic protection options include NIJ Level III / B6 and NIJ Level IV / B7, with available protection against .50 caliber ball ammunition.
The BATT UMG series from The Armored Group is engineered for military and conflict-zone applications, built on a commercially available Ford-based chassis and militarized to our specifications. Emphasis is placed on global serviceability through the use of widely available OEM components. The platform is designed for rapid power-pack removal and replacement, achievable within 10 hours, and supports right-hand-drive conversion using Ford OEM components for international markets.
The BATT UMG Truck variant further enhances survivability with blast- and mine-mitigating design features, including a V-shaped underbody and reinforced crew seating.
